PMSHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pitampura came into existence in August 1985. A co-educational school known for its achievements in academic, co-curricular and sports activities has excelled well in impairing value based education to its students. An imploring and aesthetic three-storied building provides all basic amenities. A healthy child centered education and activity-oriented approach in the teaching learning process facilitates the holistic development of children.
Gradual year wise expansion in classes and sections leads to present status to full fledged PMSHRI KV Pitampura 1st and 2nd Shifts. Second Shift with Classes upto Std. VIII came into existence from the academic session 2010-11, catering to the needs of students, with separate staff and schools timings, functioning in the same campus.

Fully equipped laboratories – Physics , Chemistry, Biology and Junior Science Labs, 2 Computer Labs, Various E-Classrooms, Library, Activity Rooms, Primary Resource Room.
Most of the games facilities are available in the Vidyalaya such as Full fledged Gym, Swimming Pool, Skating Ring, Lawn Tennis, Basket Ball , Kho Kho, Foot ball, Athletics, Volley ball, Open Gym.
